Run Away With Me

Won’t you run away with me?
We can disappear into the trees,
following our hearts,
falling on our knees,
with laughter, and joy, and love, and need.
Everything inside is begging you, please?
I know what I want, and I know what I see,
And I know that you know that we’re meant to be.
so why delay? Why put off the lead?
Perhaps it’ll hurt, perhaps it’ll sting;
But, when it’s all over, I know that we’ll sing.
A year of pain, for a lifetime of love?
Or a lifetime of want, with nothing above?

I’m here, my dear, and begging you, Please?
Won’t you run away with me?
